Website Design Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all website design and development services by NZ Tech Ltd.

Scope and Quotes

All projects begin with a written quote for the agreed scope. Changes beyond scope may incur additional costs — we will always notify you first.

Payment

50% deposit required before work begins
Remaining balance due on project completion before launch or file delivery
Late payment may result in work being paused

Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide all required content (text, images, logos) and approve work within 5 business days of presentation. Delays caused by the client may extend the timeline.

Revisions

Our quotes include an agreed number of revision rounds. Additional revisions may be charged at our hourly rate.

Intellectual Property

Once fully paid, you own the design and content created for your project
We retain the right to display the project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing
Third-party assets (stock images, plugins, fonts) remain under their respective licences

Hosting and Maintenance

Design services do not include ongoing hosting or maintenance unless separately agreed. After delivery you manage your own hosting and updates.

Warranty and Liability

We complete all work with reasonable care and skill under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. We are not liable for issues caused by third-party platforms or hosting providers. Maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the project.
